Do you have to be a musician to appreciate music?

Do you have to be a musician to appreciate music?  Well, friends, the answer is no!  Any untrained ear can appreciate music.  Just take a look!  With just a little bit of instruction the untrained (human) ear can be taught to hear themes, dynamics, sequences, repetition, chord structure and so much more.  That's why we use "puppet shows" in Let's Play Music and "dances" in Sound Beginnings.  We are training these little 2-7 year old ears to pick up on all of these complicated things...and have fun while doing it!
